Ian Digman - B.Eng. MBA

Ian is an Automotive Engineer by education and joined Ford Motor Company straight after graduation with his B. Eng. (hons) from Loughborough University. For the subsequent 28 years he has held multiple leadership roles within Ford, Nissan, Infiniti and McLaren before joining EV start-up, Switch Mobility in 2021.

These roles have crossed Engineering, Business Strategy, Sales and Marketing and Product Management providing a complete view of the automotive landscape. This hands-on leadership experience has been supplemented by an Executive MBA from Duke University, USA.

In addition to corporate roles, Ian has been a panellist and guest speaker at conferences and universities in UK and USA covering subjects as wide as Connected Services, Innovation and Luxury.

He is Director and Member of the Board of Trustees for the charity GASP Motor Project where he is Chair of the Marketing Committee.

He now lives in England with his wife and daughter, returning home after multiple overseas assignments in Germany, China, and Switzerland. He is an avid cyclist, technophile, self-confessed car geek and occasional magazine contributor.
